First-Ever Ratha Yatra in Gandhinagar : ISKCON Gandhinagar has announced that this will be the maiden Jagannath Ratha Yatra in the capital. The tradition, famously celebrated in Puri, Odisha, will now be brought to the streets of Gandhinagar with the same devotion and grandeur.The Ratha Yatra will commence from Kanam Greens Party Plot, Kudasan, and move through key city areas via Sardar Chowk before concluding at ISKCON Gandhinagar. Temple authorities expect around 3,000 devotees and well-wishers to join the procession. The majestic chariots of Sri Sri Jagannath, Baladev, and Subhadra will be pulled by devotees amidst chanting of the holy names, bhajans, kirtans, and the sounds of conch shells and mridangas. Streets along the route will be decorated to welcome the Lord.
