Actor Varun Sharma, who made his mark with the film ‘Fukrey’, has recently made his debut on the OTT platform. Varun played the character of a boy in a long-distance relationship in the web series ‘Chutzpah’. Let me tell you, all the projects that Varun has done in his career so far have been multi-starrers, be it ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’, ‘Dilwale’, ‘Roohi’ or ‘Chhichhore’. Varun, who has done about 17 films in his career, has not done any solo project so far.
 
The character of Chucha is very close to Varun’s heart : Varun will also be a part of the next franchise of ‘Fukrey’. Regarding this, he says, “The preparations for the film have started, like everyone we are also waiting for the situation to be normal so that we can start the shoot. With this film I made my debut, the character of Chucha in Mere Dil. The kind of love that the film has got, the responsibility of entertaining people gets doubled.
 
The expectations of the audience from us keep increasing, which is not wrong at all. Their expectations encourage us to work harder than last time. This hope is our strength. Yes, there is pressure to live up to their expectations, but it is a healthy pressure. We would like to retain the ‘Fukrey’ franchise.”
