India women’s team started off aggressively. In the fourth minute of the match, Vandana scored a goal from Navneet Kaur to put India 1-0 ahead. Before the end of the first quarter, South Africa equalized by scoring a goal. In the second quarter, Vandana scored a goal again to take the team by 2-1.

On the other hand, South Africa scored 2-2 in the last minute of the second quarter. In the third quarter, Neha Goel scored on Rani Rampal’s pass.
