Cadbury’s chocolate is wrong about being beef, the company said – selling 100% veg products in India

Chocolate and biscuit maker Cadbury has responded to a post going viral on social media. In which it is being claimed that gelatin ie animal fat is used in the company’s product. To this, Cadbury said that customers should fact-check before sharing the post.

In a statement issued by the confectionery company, it has been said that the viral posts on social media do not pertain to Cadbury products made in India. Because all the products made or sold here are 100% vegetarian. The company further said that the green circle on the wrapper of the chocolate indicates that all the products made and sold in India are vegetarian.

After such posts went viral on social media, the company said that the screenshots do not pertain to Mondelez products manufactured in India. Mondelez International is an American company, now owned by the British company Cadbury.
