Kirti Azad becomes Virat Kohli’s sympathizer
Kirti Azad becomes Virat Kohli’s sympathizer, Said on the removal of Virat- even the matches of all the selectors will not be equal to half of Kohli’s matches
Indian selectors have removed Virat Kohli from the captaincy of ODIs. He has already left the captaincy of T20. Now he is only the captain of the Test team. There is a lot of controversy between BCCI and Virat Kohli regarding this. Now former all-rounder Kirti Azad, who was a player of the World Cup winning team in 1983, has made a statement which will not go down well with the selectors and BCCI.
He said in an interview to News18, “I didn’t want to say that, but I have to say this. I don’t want to insult the selectors, they are good players, but if you look at their total matches, how much did Virat play? It’s not even half of it.”
BCCI President knows if the captain of any format is changed
Azad said, “If you change the captain of any format. You have to tell the president of BCCI. If Ganguly knew about it, he could have talked to Virat informally. I think Virat is not angry, but the way he has been removed from the post of captaincy, he must have been hurt.
